CORENA is pleased to announce the release of the 2nd generation CORENA IETP.
CORENA IETP is an Interactive Electronic Technical Publication application providing the users the capability to navigate, search and view technical documentation from a stand-alone application capable of running on a variety of operating systems.
CORENA now have a lightweight yet very functional foundation basis for supporting functionality required by our demanding customers and any future issues of the S1000D specification.
CORENA IETP offers:
Support for S1000D Issue 4.0
The new release initially offers support for S1000D Issue 4.0. Other issues of the S1000D specification and iSpec2200 is planned incorporated within the next year. In the meantime the current CORENA CDROM/IETM product will continue to be supported.
CORENA IETP is implemented using the CORENA S1000D Web-Client architecture and share its core libraries and database model with the CORENA S1000D/iSpec2200 product. Reuse of common components provide end users with a familiar look and feel as well as allowing for reuse of well tested domain business logic, services and database configuration.
CORENA IETP stand-alone features an embedded web-server (Jetty) and embedded database (Oracle Berkeley DB). The IETP is a client-server web application providing the user accesses through his/her favorite web-browser. Customization of presentation is provided through configuration of XML based style kits.
CORENA IETP stand-alone will be available for customers 15th December.
