CORENA establishes partnership with Cortona3D

CORENA has now established a partnership with Cortona3D, which allows our joint customers to take advantage of the technologies of the two companies.
Cortona3D provides 3D driven technical authoring software to streamline the authoring of technical communications. Cortona3D software delivers advanced tools that provide manufacturers with the ability to deliver more efficient and effective technical documentation – parts catalogs, technical manuals, operating procedures, assembly instructions and training and eLearning materials.
As a result of this partnership CORENA will manage the Cortona3D generated content in its CORENA S1000D CSDB and would publish the content coming both from Cortona3D and from other authoring sources such as an XML editor into advanced IETPs.
The benefits of the partnership for users include:

- reduced risk of inconsistent or out-of-date technical documentation
- shortened length and complexity of the publications cycle
- a common platform for effectively integrating otherwise isolated information assets
Prior to the announcement several joint customers have shown interest in this combined offering.
