CORENA partner RCM Technologies produces 1,500 data modules in only 6 weeks
RCM Technologies, Westerly RI, USA, is comprised of more than 60 skilled technical authors and illustrators who produce aircraft manuals for customers such as Sikorsky, Keystone Helicopters, Hamilton Sundstrand, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing and Gulfstream.
RCM Technologies made a strategic decision to use the AIA/ASD S1000D standard for all future technical publication work. In 2008 they engaged with CORENA and deployed the Life*S1000D authoring, publishing and distribution environment. Installation and training took less than a week where after authors and illustrators were producing deliverables directly to the customers, in production-ready format.
